Full payment is due upon check-in. You can check out any time up until 11:00 a.m. local time. Later check-out times may be requested, although we may not always be able to accommodate them depending on availability and how busy we are.
At check-out time, please drop keys into the key slot located on the office door. Please note that there may be a $10 fee charged for keys not returned. To avoid late penalties, please let us know when you check out. A more detailed inspection of the bunk is usually made after the check-out time, and we reserve the right to make charges on the card on file for any damages or breakages found before the bunk is occupied again.
The security deposit should be released by your credit card issuing bank automatically within 3 workdays, but sometimes it may take up to 15–21 days. The security deposit/pre-authorization is not held by Apple Tree Inn. Please ensure that bed linen and towels are placed where they were originally found. The bed linen and towels are not gifts and should remain in the room. Pool towels for the hot springs are available upon request at the front desk.
Please carefully read our cancellation policy. Rarely can we make exceptions to this. Our receptionists are instructed to follow these rules exactly. To avoid misunderstandings, please observe the following:
PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN OUR HOSTEL.
Smoking or vaping (including cannabis) of any kind is not permitted in any area of the hostel. Any smoking inside or lingering smoke scents inside will result in a $300 cleaning fee.
PLEASE ONLY USE OUR DESIGNATED SMOKING AREAS. Do not smoke on decks or directly outside of rooms. If you don't know where these areas are, please ask at the front desk.
Please treat the apartment and all equipment and furniture with care, keeping everything in order and in its original place. Immediate notification to staff is expected for any damages or breakages. You (the Guest) are financially responsible for any damage to the bunk(s) you rent, including those caused by negligent actions of yourself or others.
A summary check will be made when cleaning before another guest occupies the bunk. You will receive a detailed statement and invoice for any repair or replacement costs by email or text. Charges may be applied to your credit card immediately. If costs exceed your deposit or if it has already been returned, additional charges may apply.
Apple Tree Inn may take necessary action to ensure all equipment and facilities are in working order. The cost of damages or cleaning beyond reasonable use will be charged to the credit card on file.
When you make a reservation, you are booking a bunk type (not a specific bunk). Each bunk type includes similar bunks of comparable size and equipment, though interiors may differ. Reservations are confirmed only after you receive an email from appletreeinnradium@gmail.com.
You can extend your stay (depending on availability) by letting us know at the front desk. If you’re already staying with us and would like to stay longer, please notify us before 11:00 a.m. check-out time. We’ll do our best to accommodate your plans, which may include relocating you to a similar bunk if necessary.
We want you to enjoy your stay! However, if property damages or missing items occur, they will be charged to your credit card at market value. Pre-existing damages must be reported immediately upon registration to avoid charges.
The hotel allows guests, with permission, to receive packages or deliveries, but we are not responsible for their contents or storage. Quiet hours are observed from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. to ensure all guests can rest comfortably.
Please practice safe cooking habits — do not leave burners unattended, and avoid cooking with strong-smelling ingredients. Lingering odors that require deep cleaning may incur up to a $250 cleaning fee. Clean and put away anything you use in common areas, and please wash your own dishes to assist our hardworking staff.
You may park near your room for convenience. By parking at our facility, you and your guests do so at your own risk. The hotel does not accept responsibility or liability for damage, accidents, or loss to your vehicle or belongings. Security cameras monitor the lot, and we can review footage upon request. Long-term parking requires permission and may not be available during peak season.
Room refreshes are available upon request. Requests must be made by 9:00 p.m. the night before.
Guests or visitors in possession of firearms must comply with all federal, provincial, and local laws. Failure to do so may result in removal from the property without refund. This policy applies to all firearms, regardless of type. Only on-duty law enforcement and designated military personnel are exempt.
As part of our commitment to safety, employees will not disclose the identity, room number, or presence of guests to anyone other than law enforcement. Guests are responsible for sharing their room number with those they wish to receive calls or visits from. Safety cameras operate throughout the premises, and all persons on property may be recorded.
The hotel assumes no responsibility for personal injury while using facilities. Guests use all facilities at their own risk.
